Site Mode
Start with infrastructure you already have.
For an early organisation pilot, the first question is not “will you replace every camera?” It is: can Peoples Defence work with compatible cameras and safeguarding processes already on site?
Organisation workflow
Trigger → preserve → understand.
Connect
Assess compatible existing sources such as webcams, network cameras or RTSP feeds.
Trigger
Begin an incident from an approved person-controlled trigger, phone workflow or staff action.
Preserve
Identify and preserve authorised evidence around the relevant incident window.
Review
Bring relevant events into a clearer Evidence Timeline for authorised follow-up.
Where this can fit
Early pilot environments.
Universities & campuses
Student and staff safety workflows linked to existing coverage.
Venues & workplaces
Person-triggered incident workflows for staff, visitors or lone workers.
Housing, retail & other sites
Carefully scoped evidence and safeguarding workflows where infrastructure already exists.
Hardware strategy
Use existing cameras first. Dedicated Peoples Defence-ready cameras can come later.
We do not need an organisation to wait for a brand-new camera estate before validating Site Mode. The near-term route is compatible existing hardware. If future deployments reveal gaps in coverage, Peoples Defence can explore dedicated OEM/ODM camera hardware preconfigured for the Evidence Layer.
